My favourite cafe in Brisbane. Calming atmosphere with Ghibli piano playing, anime artwork everywhere and customer drawn sketches displayed proudly! The food is always so damn good, and the coffee is fantastic. They also have a fun catalogue of manga and western books to read while you're relaxing. I will always keep coming back!

Read some positive reviews on this cafe and got exactly what I expected. I ordered the chicken tenders set, a large iced matcha latte, and an affogato. The two drinks came in around 5 minutes, but the meal came a little later, all of which were delicious and definitely worth the money. The chicken tenders set came with seasoned tenders, french fries, a salad, and a side of sweet chilli and tomato sauce. The combo was very good and fulfilling. The matcha latte was super good, and the matcha taste was strong and sweet in the best way. The affogato's espresso shot was very strong but the scoop of cookies and cream ice cream definitely balanced it out perfectly. Also, with the time waiting for my meal, it gave me time to look around and actually appreciate the atmosphere and aesthetic of the cafe. I really liked the mural of the popular anime characters on the wall near the entrance, as well as the wall of drawn characters on framed sticky notes. I also liked the display shelfs of manga, magazines, and anime figurines, and I loved how there was a shelf with manga and magazines that you could actually read while dining, making the whole experience even better because I ended up reading a whole volume of a manga throughout my time there. The calming, lofi-style music was really the cherry on top, and my whole experience was wonderful. The workers that I met, which were an old couple, were super sweet and accommodating, and I am definitely coming back to try more on the menu!

The overall food was fine, the fried spaghetti was outstanding! Latte was ok, but pricey with that piece of art… well, fun experience. Staffs were kind but food served very slow, took more than 30 minutes (it wasn’t busy, just us!). Somewhat disappointed me was the overall environment, it wasn’t “Manga” feel enough! The feeling was like entering a cat cafe, only has 2 cats laying around… or maybe I have the wrong expectation? anyhow, probably not going back just for the slow fried spaghetti…

This is my new go to place for Matcha Latte. Their drink and food sizes are massive compared to the price. Love the peace and quiet vibe and the incredible service. Giving 4 stars because they never opens at 9.30am on Saturday. It’s usually around 9.45am or 10am. Suggest to update the time on google maps

Hi my name is Finn and I'm eight years old and I love the atmosphere at this Cafe. I have been coming here for two years and the service here is always terrific. I love the art work on the wall. Today I met the artist who created the anime. You will find my drawings on the walls of this beautiful Cafe. What do you think of my drawings?

Cozy cafe with calm music, manga to read, couches and anime art around the cafe! If you send them a picture of your husbando or waifu on Instagram after you make your order they can put it on a latte for you!
